Features of the Marigolds Room
Arts & Creativity
Toddlers are natural explorers and creators. Our arts and creativity activities support milestones such as fine motor development, hand–eye coordination, and early self-expression. Through painting, drawing, music, and sensory art, children are encouraged to explore colors, textures, and sounds while building confidence and creativity in a process-focused environment
Potty Training
Between ages 1–3, many toddlers begin showing readiness signs for potty training, such as recognizing bodily cues or expressing interest in routines. We partner closely with parents to support potty training at each child’s pace, offering gentle encouragement, consistency, and positive reinforcement aligned with family preferences.
Indoor & Outdoor Play
Active play is essential during the toddler years. Our indoor and outdoor play opportunities support milestones like walking, running, climbing, and jumping. Structured and free play help toddlers burn energy, practice socializing, and explore their surroundings safely while building gross motor skills.
Independence & Socialization
Toddlers are learning who they are and how to interact with others. We support milestones such as self-help skills, early communication, parallel play, and cooperative play. Through guided group activities and daily routines, children are encouraged to make simple choices, try new tasks independently, and build social skills like sharing, turn-taking, and empathy in a supportive setting.
Toddlers are at a vulnerable and formative stage of development, and we are here to provide consistent and patient support for their healthy growth
